When it comes to Graphic Design, my biggest interest is in the commercial aspects of design. I really enjoy the more practical side as opposed to the more artistic side. I like to imagine my work being seen by thousands but not in the way that a famous painting would be, but more in the day to day interaction. For me, I find it exciting when I go to a grocery store, or say Coffee Shop and I see package designs, or advertisements that are really strong and effective. The idea of having a design be both creative and practical is very interesting to me and something I always think about when I’m starting a new project. How can I make something that people use every day, interesting enough to where they stop for a second and actually analyze it beyond its core purpose? How can I control the viewers eye from start to finish and leave them satisfied? These are the two major things I consider in my work.
